315 Broadway NYC

Terry Fugate-Wilcox, 315 Broadway NYC, full-page advertisement in Art in America, July–August 1969 [image turned 90 degrees counterclockwise]

The artist placed an advertisement in Art in America as a preview to an exhibition of Invisible sculpture at OK Harris Gallery, which never took place. Fugate-Wilcox claimed he found thousands of copies of the same photograph when he moved into his lower Manhattan loft a year before. He said he has no idea what the image depicts.
